1. Hide the threads they make.
2. Hide their name being displayed as the latest post for a thread, and simply display the last post before them.
I think it would be much more beneficial and effective for people if that were the case. More people may actually use it and keep it on.

You should make this a poll. I second this.

Also... adjust the page counts accordingly, and apply that to global ignore as well.

Excellent suggestion! I support this, wholeheartedly. Because until this is applied, you still see them sometimes.

What about when they're quoted?

I haven't had the need to use the ignore function yet but one member is tempting me, either way nice suggestion.

There's actually not a single person I want to ignore. No one really bothers me much at all. Sometimes people say stuff or do things, but everyone does sometimes.

This.
The idea of blocking someone over the internet seems slightly stupid to me. Especially since I know there are a lot of mature people on this forum. Sometimes you guys disappoint me over some arguing. But generally, still in the back of your mind you are going to be like,"That person is forever on my blacklist. I will constantly be reminded of their existence"
In other words. Why not play nice then make Osay implement more ways to ignore people? And if something bothers you, you don't have to read/reply to that thread. Just move on.
I do support an option of hiding threads from view however.

This whole ignore thing is silly too, I agree.
But I guess it works?
I'm for the whole, ignore someone's post and move on with your life, even if I hate you. That's the more civil and mature way to do it anyway.

While I agree with this, I doubt it will be implimented soon. This only because of the fact that we are changing forum systems— though I was doing some exploring and I don't believe that Xenforo has this functionality.
