I've been gathering wool for Holy Water PTJ and I noticed something.
Before you could only get 5 wool per sheep (Normally 6 since they get 1 wool every minute)
Now, I can get 20+ from one sheep.
My 2 questions:
- Can you guys get 20+ wool from one sheep too? Or is it just me? (I hope not)
- Also, I'm just curious, but how do you make a sheep "stuck" per-say. Like in a tree, behind a post, between boxes, etc. I've seen it done before, but I always wondered how.
Thanks :tea:

You can get them stuck using wolf pets. There's a guide on how to do it on here.
And, I noticed that I could get a lot out of one sheep, too.

AHA! I found it. Thanks Saani :D
I never thought there would be a guide. Do you think it would be possible if you used a wolf tamed via Taming Wild Animals?
I doubt it, but I really don't want to spend NX on a wolf T_T
Time to do surveys ...

Uhh i get about 20-60 wool per sheep depending if anyone has sheered it before.

Yes, it is possible with taming.

Yeah I'm getting an unusually large amount of wool from sheep. Not complaining about it though!

Yep ok! I also just recently saw that statement in the guide by Yogurt.

Really? 60? O_O
It makes me wonder ... but I'm happy with 20 wool per sheep.
The original 5-6 wool per sheep was simply horrible and time-consuming.

Pretty sure sheep have up to 50 wool. I usually shear in areas no one else goes and I definitely average around 50 per.

It was never 5-6 wool per sheep. I think you're confusing sheep with hens or chopping wood.

I average around 20-30 wool/sheep in Dunbarton and Qilla Base Camp. Not sure if location makes a difference.

It's 30 max per sheep.
31 if you're counting wool regeneration, using a speed gathering knife on a stuck sheep. Probably around 35 with non-upgraded knives on moving sheep.
Also remember that rain increases how much wool a sheep has. Thunder will double wool.

So 30 wool eh?
I just checked wiki and it says the same thing.
I can't help but feel the number was lower before for sheep.
I remember having to move from sheep to sheep just to collect wool after getting 6 wool.
Otherwise, I get the message I should stop collecting wool from this sheep.

You probably sheered in popular areas where somebody was hoarding wool for Weaving/future Qilla PTJs and left all the sheep dry.

Location makes a big difference.
I have my personal area for shearing sheep, it's about 25-35 wool usually per sheep.
Personal as in I'm the only one who sticks sheep in that area and nobody bothers the sheep there since it is unknown and I don't always stick sheep every week (so that not too many people will know about it).

Sheep have always had a high number for me.
