It just doesn't look like the Mona Lisa to me that way... I guess I'm just too accustomed to the gloominess of the colours from the aging of the paint on the original xD

Analyzing paintings and scriptures through technology and restoration has gotten really advanced. This story reminds me of them finding out a new painting that de Vinci had created but they didn't know he was created.
Turns out, he liked to paint wrestlers and beneath all the layers of paint, the original wrestler art was hidden underneath.
Quite fascinating what they can discover. There was another article about them finding Shakespeare's signature in a document as well.

I prefer more life in the colors, so I'm finding this one pretty nice to look at. The red is quite distracting though. It draws my eyes to the bottom of the painting.
