Sometimes I think about some of the things I've done for the people I've really liked and I make myself laugh.
I'm a huge romantic.
I believe in that whole chivalry, corny stuff. You know, surprising someone and making him or her feel all gushy and mushy inside. It's really cute.
What about you?
Name something really romantic you've done for someone. And while you're at it, name something romantic you'd love to do for someone one day. Brag all you want, haha.
I've made a Valentine's Day video for someone before. It was so fun making it, especially since it was my first time video editing, and it was really sweet too.
Something I'd love to do one day is write and play a song for someone. Like randomly show up at his workplace and strum out my guitar and start serenading him. It'd be beautiful!
It's just a bummer that I don't play any instruments.

Seeing as I haven't really had more than 2 serious relationships and 95% of my other non-serious ones were online, I can't really list many examples.
I am huge on chivalry, though. Only instead of using it exclusively with women I instead use it on all individuals of the feminine gender. I'm not a very emotional person in general, but if I do manage to get that close with someone (be it platonically or romantically) I'm a mixture between a caretaker and a stereotypical 'Romeo'.
I like to spoil the people I love, though like I said, I haven't really had the right situation nor the money to do so. I also love doing little things for them; be it random dates, food, gifts, etc. I'm extremely loyal and basically submissive when it comes to the right person. [S](though obviously, submission rarely applies in the physical aspect of the relationship, if there is one)[/S]
Blah blah blah, I'm a big romantic, a caretaker and a lot like a puppy when it comes to love. Though my overly romantic and possibly co-dependent tendencies are made up by the fact that it's ridiculously hard to make me like people, let alone care for them in any way.

Yeahhh Im a Romantic aswell...
Of course to begin with the little things, random gifts and cards, phone calls, etc...Im big on all of those, although the person Im with doesnt, exactly, value them the same amount, so thats rarely causes frustration but every once in a while it can...
Uh, Ive made a few things recently, for christmas I hand-painted a wooden treasure chest with lots of details and her name on it, bought a pair of steampunk goggles, and gave her the goggles in the box for christmas...For our anniversary I made a little book card type thing...I do lots of artsy things I guess...
Id love to be able to do more, just need to get the ideas though, Im getting a job over the summer to in part, support my plans..
OH, over the summer when she went away, I used the key to her house (the spare thats outside...I knew where it was...its not that creepy...I had permission) and hand wrote a love letter, bought a dozen roses and left them in her room for when she got back....That was probably pretty good.

I don't really think this counts as something I've done for someone but rather just something romantic that happened I guess.
Anyways during my first year at a new school I had this huge crush on someone the entire year but I was so incredibly shy and quiet that I figured they hardly noticed me, I even saw them walking across campus once on the opposite side of me and was so caught up in staring that I ran into a pole D: LOL very embarrassing.
That aside the school year was winding down with a class trip in North Carolina and the final night they had this huge country styled dance for everyone. I was still really shy so I sat outside and star gazed for awhile until my crushes friends made their way outside and talked to me. TURNS OUT they knew I had a crush on their friend and teased me about it ;; haha.
A little bit after that when a slow song came on my crush actually came outside sat down beside me, held out his hand and asked me to dance. It was the first time I had ever really danced with someone and it was a really beautiful night.
The more I think about it I've had some really romantic stuff done for me, such as on valentines someone sent me so many roses during the school day that I couldn't even see where I was going while walking around xD.
Lots of things but at the same time I don't think I've really gotten to do something romantic (I mean sure I've done really smalll things) but nothing huge for anyone else, I moved around a lot which prevented long term relationships in real life.
I'm generally a big romantic though so when I'm given the chance :D I'd really like to plan something special for that certain someone.

omg I love romance and threads involving it
anyway probably the most romantic thing I've done is create a kinda bucket list for my fiance on his birthday (which is actually on Valentine's Day, I find that totally cute). He calls me Kitten and I call him Bear so I filled out a sketchbook of stuff we're going to do together in the future (drew myself as a kitten, him as a bear). A page for every event. It was totally worth the time and money it took :D My mom really liked it and so did he
I threw in a (fake) rose, Winnie the Pooh plush, a Tigger plush and a Winnie the Pooh mug. I have a matching Tigger mug back at my house
as for romantic stuff he's done for me, he seems to have a knack for thinking of romantic/cute stuff on the spot. When we were returning to a hotel from a restaurant last summer, he stopped in the middle of an empty street to smooch me. He did the same when we were on a bridge :D
and he surprised me with these really pretty Tiffany's earrings he knew I really wanted last holiday
he also wrote me a nice poem last Valentine's Day :}
I forgot to add, last summer he and I were at Six Flags and I pointed out a large plush I wanted. He tried to win it for me but didn't but I really liked that he tried
I can't really think of anything else romantic I could do in the future, and he might read this so I wouldn't want to ruin any surprises anyway ;(

Bringing breakfast to their bed while they're sleeping is a surefire way to start the day off right.
Also, joking around a lot is good too.
As well as saying nice and flattering words to them.
Me and my own boyfriend? We did the aforementioned a lot. Every day he visited, we got each other breakfast on alternating days. We also walked from our hotel to starbucks/walmart. It was fun. I even joked with him and took him to find some clothes. Of course he didn't want to buy anything, but still.
He did buy me a huge stuffed sheep. I cuddle it every night.
He also bought me a green monkey that hangs around your neck. His favorite color is green~
All-in-all, it's the thought that counts.

One time, when I had a crush on someone, I decided to leave behind my MP3 player in the class we were in. The reason being is that I had a field trip to a technology competition that day and the bus was about to leave in a few minutes, so I was literally running and doing all this at the last moment.
I left my earphones with that MP3 player, and left my MP3 player on with a love song selected. I also wrote a love poem to her and left it next to the MP3 player. All of this was to confess that I like her and wanted to be more than friends.
I got turned down when I got home.

Err... Romance.
What happens is I let my mind run wild to come up with decent ideas. Then when I attempt to put it into play, and the stars aren't all aligned, I end up not doing it at all.
