Vindictus Keyboard Beeping

This is a problem I've had for pretty long in windows 7. Basically what happens is after a few runs, the keyboard starts beeping when you try to move. After I did a search, it appears that I'm actually not alone.

All these people have the SAME issue that I used to have and noone ever had a solution.

I have a solution to it (kind of), except it's not really good. Personally for me I never get that issue on windows vista or windows XP, so I think a OS switch might be the only fix in this case. It's not a perfect fix, but a fix is better than none at all, I guess.

Let me know if you have a fix that doesn't involve a different OS.

I believe it was something related to Sticky-Keys.

Try to permanantly disable it and see if it works? I think that is where the noise might be comming from. Uncheck all the options that say, "Make a sound."

That's what I did and it worked.

Oh. I just read those threads, they make mention of Sticky-Keys ...
I think it's not only disabling it, but unchecking those Sound options. I hope it works ^^

I used to get this problem too. Turn off sticky keys and sound, as mentioned above, but if your computer supports another language (in my case, Cantonese) I found that by pressing Shift+Alt or Ctrl+Space it would switch between the two languages, and since the QWERTY keyboard isn't compatible with writing Cantonese, it would freeze up the screen and make a beeping sound whenever I press+hold a key. Whenever it happens, just press Shift+Alt or Ctrl+Space and try walking around. Not saying this IS the cause of the problem or something, but it's something to try if turning off sticky keys doesn't help.

Oh that sounds like my problem exactly. Never thought that having a different language can freeze the game like that lol
