Alexina is a little different from the other servers. Probrably close to 50% of the auctions don't even get sold here. 99% of the bots are gone which seemed to fund alot of the Dunbarten Fashionista AFkers. We have a much smaller population (although some of the best of them :D) and seems we also have far less all out grinders.
I have characters on other servers (mostly for visiting and testing server differences like the AI spike we had a few months ago which is now fixed). Its amazing the difference in our server 2 months ago from what it is today. I went from making 5-10 mil a week from smithing, synthing, tailoring, or enchanting and now I have to scrap hard just to make 2 mil from those same sources.
Prices are finally starting to come down but based on my calcualtion we have about 25% thats right 1/4 of the gold we had just 2 months ago.

A growing game means more money in the market. I knew inflation was coming by seeing the streets of Dunby just filled with random people nowadays and seeing more than one price setter in the housing boards. The gold uncap made is so much worse though. When I had my money in checks, I was compelled to buy things just to make room in my pets but now I can just set it back in the bank with no problem.

it is really dumb to assume that the auction caused the **** state the alexina economy is in right now.
everyone who has any idea what's going on knows it's the lack of gold bots. no gold bots, less people buying gold, which means things are much harder to sell.
Hm.. have you ever heard of gold sinks? More golds are being released into NPCs, making less golds, flowing around, in the server, but like I said, it's not the only reason why there's deflation, and I agreed with what you said on there, about the bots.

Eh I expected this myself. I'm completely against buying or selling NX anyway so that part doesn't matter to me. I do like to sell dyes not only as fast cash but I have certain buyers on Tarlach that refuse to buy dyes via cash shop so i sell to them who then in turn use these dyes on their fancy arse crap. As many people are against my kind my intentions are honorable.
This has inspired me to rant elsewhere.. i will go do that now..

The dearth of cash on Alexina (and I would guess other servers maybe) can be attributed to several things.
First is the reduction of gold farming bots. Until today, even popular locations like the raccoons in Dugald were bot-free. Gold-selling bots (advertisers) were mostly gone for 2 months, and in this time, prices plummeted. But this would still not account for gold flowing out of the economy.
Second, we have less people getting money from the game (killing mobs, finishing missions/dungeons) as their means of earning cash. More and more people are trying to gacha their way to wealth.
Third, we have all the cash sinks in the game working hard. I see more and more people with PD armor (Val, Dustin, etc.), which is all expensive to repair. So are shields. And the auction house probably pulls out an average of 4-5M per day from the game economy. Plus all the people buying new clothes like a Gothic Riding Suit or See-through Cocktail dress from NPCs.
Fourth, more and more people are buying lifeskills materials instead of gathering them themselves. This is a lot of money not going into Fashionogi.
The combination of the second and third trends are taking cash out of the economy and returning it to the void. People need to pick up their gold piles, run missions, do PQs, and save fomor scrolls. Every bit of gold helps. People also need to give up on the delusion that gacha = get rich quick. Most of the time you get junk, and even if you do get a rare item, no one has the money to buy it.

Where I grind in Alexina noody seems to pick up their piles of gold anymore. Whenever I'm not alone killing mongeese in Rano I always see people leaving the gold lying there on the ground to be absorbed, and it boggles my mind that players can't take the half-second to pick up the 400 or so gold each time. The same goes for people wming zombies in TNN. Monster drop gold piles up, and not everything has to be about gold buying and merchanting.
Alexina, play the game. It's an RPG, after all. :fail:

10k NX goes for way more than 1mil... average price is like 1.5mil.
Personally, I'd pay up to 2mil.

Thats the one good thing on Alexina. NX price dropped to 1 mil flat. I can make an extra 1-2 mil a week to support rebirths and such. Oh me and a friend calculated how much in game gold we spent buying nx and I came to a chilling figure. I've spent over 100 MIL in game for nx in last 8 months. 900kish

Makes me want to make an alternate account over there just to buy NX for my main account. (Not like gold is THAT hard to get)
Do you get codes first over there? It's hard to find sellers in Ruairi, especially since we have quite a few scammers running around.

I get codes first but outside Angelwing I may be the best known player on server so people are not worried about me scamming. Maybe if I make some extra money this week I'll come to Ruarii and sell the nx and deckmyself out on my ruari alt.
I don't get scammed. Fame has some perks.
Edit: There is a good reason why. 6-7 months ago someone scammed a guildy of mine. I asked the guildmaster to either ask his guildy to repay the 500k to my guildy or remove that kinda trash from his guild. The guildmaster refused, called me names, and encouraged the other to try to scam some more people from our guild. He said all this outloud for us to hear. I asked every major guild on server to ban helping anyone from that guild. Everytime I met one of thier guildys I told them why and that they should find a better guild. The guild was disbanded a week later.
Don't screw with Kugnae members. (yes I'm a little mafia at times)
Edit 2: Justified if you do come to Alexina look me up I'll help your alt get leveled enough so that he has some ap to rank some prod skills or whatever you needed.

Even though there's auctions, there are farms too.
Some people even have 2-3 farms.
400k per farm x 90 farms per channel x 7 channels = 252M per week going into the economy
compared to
2-5M per auction x 3 items x 7 days = 42M-105M

Mabi needs more of that fly-straight-or-die mentality. Sadly, in Ruairi it's more like "lol [insert name] is a pro scammer/modder... let's go do a shadow mission!" Probably because modders and scammers are much too commonplace.
If I did make an Alexina alt, I'd probably just sell Holy Water or something (I'm not much into Life Skills). Thanks for the offer though. But I'd gladly buy if you decide to invest in your Ruairi alt. :thumb:

Holywater sells pretty good at 15k a stack so around 70 stacks per 10k.
