A gaming desktop or a gaming laptop? Probably a desktop right?

Nay.
When I get home, I'll list you my parts.
And then find you more lists.
You know most mobos these days come with an integrated network card
Also, where's your case?
Also, if you're not going to overclock, liquid cooling is a waste of money.
Get a big case with proper airflow and you'll have no problem.
If you're going to OC, I suggest an aftermarket FAN.
I also suggest intel over amd, but then again I'm an intelfanboi111
www.overclock.net is a great place to look around

AMD is garbage. Liquid cooling is a pain in the ass to maintain. A 2 TB primary HDD with a 200 GB data drive is completely retarded... you want the SSD to be primary, and the large HDD to be data storage.
I guess something like this maybe, I dunno...

Even if you overclock it's a waste of money. Air coolers are just as good, cheaper, and require no maintenance unlike the liquid changes needed for liquid cooling.

You can't say NO maintenance.
You have to clean out the dust every once in a while.
Liquid cool just gives it a nice clean look.
Unless you got it all over the place then whatever.
Also an 800W psu?
That's kinda going overboard there too

I didn't build it, my friend did. :<
and that one seems cheaper anyway
I'm kinda technologically impaired when it comes to these things so I don't want to buy anything I won't need, but I don't want to not buy something I do need.

Intel's next gen CPU line will be released in a few days. Just sayin'.
PS. That case is ugly as hell. D: Use an Antec P280 or something.

Yeah, it is. I like the NZXT Phantom 410 Gaming Case (White)
And I'm sure the next gen will be super expensive, though. e_e

Nope, the prices are about the same. They're just replacing the parts with new ones. If you're buying pre-built systems, it's another matter, as some manufacturers would probably want to rip people off while it's new. Alternatively, there may be good deals on the current gen tech.

Total = ~$949
With mail in rebate on just about half of them around ~$890

I can't see 320GB lasting long :P I'd go for at least 500-750GB (or even 1TB).

Oh
I've personally never been over 120 GB myself
I usually add externals anyway.

If you're lazy about cleaning dust, you could always get one of those cases with dust filters like this one.
