  None of those three are happening now while trying to run it, and I don't know what you mean by the 'directory installation' bit; all I know is that when I try to run "mabitest_577" it only brings me to that error screen without installing any folders.

  Yes, it was said throughout the thread that this was a problem that others ran into.
  You can make an account now without a KSSN, but you still need a Korean IP.

  If it's the same thing I'm thinking, make sure you're installing it into the right place. It should be "Computer>C: (or whichever drive yours is)>Nexon". The folder should be named Mabinogi_test. Make sure all of that is right.

  Hopefully it will be figured out soon enough - in the mean time, others were able to download and install; what exactly did they do that I could have missed?

  There's nothing different between the normal Mabi installation and the test installation...
  
  When you first click on the installer, this will pop up.

  Click the left button.
  Then, another pop up similar to it will come up. There's only one button you can click, so click it.
  Then, it'll extract the files and get it ready for installation.
  
  After that you'll get another pop up with only one option.

  If it works, you should go through installing and then get the pop-up with Nao on it, saying that the installation is finished. On the left, it'll ask if you want to start the game. On the left, it just says cancel.

  That is the thing: I am seeing none of that.
  
  I click on the "mabitest_577" and it only goes right to the "GAME START" screens as shown earlier.

  I am sure.
  
  I even downloaded it again, by default named "mabitest_577", and ran the re-downloaded one again, and still it gave me that error without any installation.
  
  Maybe it could be that several times the download was interrupted because my computer was locked or lost internet (I always retried the download again fully after), so now just to check again I wil download and be sure that my computer doesn't run into anything that could stop it.
  
  That is the only thing wrong that I see could have happened.

  KR Proxies are like impossible to find you will have to pay for one. They are usually $10/month.

  I redownloaded it without the computer running into any stops, and I got it!

  I looked earlier in this thread and saw that the tab on the left is the one that I am supposed to go to, but here they both are.
