  Frankly, if the mother is seeking public attention solely for going after the internet trolls, and not for a book deal or whatever else she may have in mind, then she is plainly naive. Honestly, I don't want anything to do with either side of this.
  
  Before reading this article, I didn't know of the meme, 9gag, the girl or her mother. I couldn't care less about what happens to 9gag or the mother. The only one I feel sympathy for is the girl, as none of this is her fault in any way.

  It doesn't seem clear to me, especially without a link to original news article (the only image left is of the girl), but that's beside the point.
