Does anyone know if there is a PS2 emulator somewhere on the internet o3o;;; And if there is one, how good must your computer be to run it? I'm also assuming that I'll be needing a game controller to play too?

Yes a PS2 emulator does exist for the PC.

It's called PCSX2.

Minimum
* Windows/Linux OS
* CPU that supports SSE2 (Pentium 4 and up, Athlon64 and up)
* GPU that supports Pixel Shaders 2.0
* 512mb RAM
Recommended
* Windows Vista 32bit/64bit
* CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo @ 3.2ghz or better
* GPU: 8600gt or better
* 1gb RAM (2gb if on Vista)

A game controller is not necessary - you can get away with keyboard controls but it will suck.

As for how well games will play on various computers, I dunno. I've got a 6 year old Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz CPU and a Radeon HD 5770 graphics card, and I was able to play my friend's copy of Ar Tonelico quite nicely when we tested it.. but then again, it's a 2D game, so it might be easier to emulate.

You can probably get by with a weaker graphics card than mine, but CPU-wise, you want at least a dual core of respectable power--mine apparently is good enough.

Funny. That's precisely the game that I wanted to emulate. o__o;;; And eh. I bought my computer new just one to two years ago. So I would assume that It's strong enough to run it.

Looking at rzetlin's post, I think my computer should be able to run it without a problem.

Next problem would be where to find the roms haha. Or well, how to play ps2 games on this emulator lol.

PS2 games come in the form of .iso files. You'll have to Google those. They're a few gigabytes per game, so be ready for that.
