Can't wait to see how they'll implement it. :cheer:[/FONT]
Indeed. Being able to go backwards should be something cool. I don't know how it would work in a a party though ...
Probably will only be for soloing.

They could add a voting system like they do to kick leechers in the 24-man raids OR remove the loading screens and do one whole big area (highly unlikely IMO) OR do like the original Mabinogi dungeons in which people can go back to previous floors while other can be anywhere within. But then this would mean that regular missions will have dedicated servers as well, maybe? I would assume that you can't go back to previous areas during a boss fight.

Sounds like Mabi isn't the only sibling getting a sexy revamp and update.

Vote kick is already in. Right click someone and there should be an option on the drop down menu.
The dungeon system is problematic that it'll probably feel like a grind instead of anything. I can't think I've ever wanted to go fight more trash mobs, and if there are minibosses/bosses in every room then it's just a gauntlet.

Ortel Castle?

I guess that sort of counts, but in the end every party I ever ran with just did the route straight from the start to the boss. I only did about 3-4 runs total where time was spent to explore the little side routes. They do mention a new reward system, so I'll be interested in seeing how that ends up.

Treasure chests in hidden areas or mobs. Since the islands attract treasure hunters anyways.
Or a 1-staged battle quest like "Friends?" where most of the mobs are and the boss appears at the end.

I'm kind of sad to hear the title system is dieing. I liked the system, as it was a fairly unique concept in mmos, and it gave you a reason to re-run quests or farm for something with an actual feasible reward in tow. Now it's just going to become even more generic like every other cookie-cutter rpg out there. Plus more importantly, all those millions I've spent collecting item sets for their titles will be all for naught!
If they want to get rid of something. Get rid of those stupid prerequisite BP requirements on dungeons. I don't think I've ever talked to anyone who likes them.

The title change only affects story-related titles, and yea I hate the BP requirement thing. Can't tell you how many times people have been trolled by Colru's BP requirements from Lionotus.

Well, they're only getting rid of the story related titles. Titles from sidequests will remain.
It means they're encouraging power leveling, which I find a bit silly.
And since Marene beat me to it, I guess I'll throw in my opinion on BP. BP is never really too much of a problem, as you're stuck rerunning a mission to finish all the side quests anyways. It's annoying at times, but it really isn't too bad. If you just change up your oath and go for a few little things like finishes/kills, you probably won't run into the problem too often.

That's good to hear at least. So story related titles encompasses the titles for finishing a chapter I'm sure, but does anyone know if this is also going to include the titles you get for beating a boss a certain number of times? If they do I'm curious if anyone will ever run the two other army's of colhen raids besides Elchulus. Since if that becomes true, you'll neither get useful materials nor a title from doing the raid. I guess some people might run strilbog for xp farming, but by the time you can do the spider raid you could just run hidden solo.

There are 5 kill titles for Stribog and the 3 Spider raids. It's something and Hunger Buster.

That is my point. If hunger buster and frost beater no longer have stat boosts, and the mats are useless. The raid takes an unseasonably long time to fill and run. What will be the point of doing these raids anymore? The only thing I can think of is that maybe their is gear coming down the pipeline for them.

It is worth noting that the Rocheste Raid quests are all considered sidequests, as they do not appear under the main storyline tab. You also get the title from boss kills, not completing the stories.
I'm just assuming titles like "Kill the Gnoll Chieftan 2 Times" aren't considered main story titles. Instead the main story titles would be like "Perilous Ruins Explorer" and such.
