  Kai got "tweaked" upon his release and once after that. They've been doing that as of late. Hammer Fiona had a "tweak" that got snuck in with the Staff Evie revamp, although most people forget about that one.
  
  Currently Vella has only been changed twice, once upon release and once after. It's pretty much the identical situation to Kai.

  Large groups of mobs are irrelevant anywhere but Ingkells. I'm not saying I don't enjoy Evie's Ice Blast on trash but unless something has as narrow of a striking zone as Thousand Needles, it's not gonna be missing for player-made aim purposes anyway. Automatic homing is another story, but meh.
  
  Vella seems a little too good to me at the moment going solely by the videos, but they're still working on her.
  
  If they don't nerf her and don't sufficiently nerf Kai, then yes, I fear that the worries may be valid that "the newer characters are (probably) OP." But they're still messing with this stuff. And, well, you've got two choices: you can either ride the wave or let it swallow you whole. Of course nothing will always go in the favor of everyone, Keaghan and S2 both make Evie look way too good just by how they're designed. But anyway, that statement can perceived in any way you want, from "change your character" to "just let it happen, man, and enjoy your game." Either way, the end result is that it doesn't fuck up your fun.

  Duengons are completely irrelevant and pointless when talking about balancing. They dont exist, they should never be considered, learn how vindi works.
  
  How a character plays in a dungeon, now matter how ridiculously overpowered, doesn't matter to their balancing, why? I'm not sure but thats how arguments work.

  Because dungeons are always easy and no one does them anymore unless they're doing hero mode, title hunting or "playing for fun", for lack of a better way of saying it.

  SP build up for the bosses. Plus applying about how she can constanly move while attacking dealing decent damage seems to make her favorable dps chatacter with good survivability.

  Everything just seems too perfect for her. Maybe its all her attacks having invincibility frames, while people have been begging for that to happen to GF for ages? I mean, she's passing by the raid boss rapidly without even really needing to dodge. I didnt even know it was possible to do DPS to the hand colru launches at you until now.
  
  That said, this individual has +10 Explosive MaelStorms and 15k Defense, but that might be a lot more common with all the s2 buffs.

  An attack. Doesn't work on the projectiles that are actually a problem anyway, from what I've heard.

  lol :P Well you can do it with every character, but I can see how someone could miss that. It's pretty unimportant and there aren't a lot of reasons to be attacking it in the first place other than the fact that you can.

  15K defense? Unless the S2 armors have like 7K more base defense than these, I doubt that'll ever be common. +10s will be, though.
  
  I still think Vella is overpowered right now, just not for those reasons. Too much damage, too much mobility, too much survivability. Basically, too good at everything even if she's the best at nothing. Kind of like Kai, at least as we have him today.

  Projectiles seem way too finicky in vind to even want to attempt this, the slightest bit of lag could easily throw it off.

  If people went straight for attack, they could do this, but there's really no reason to. I think Explosive is a pretty bad scroll, and even for people with the "I'll just not get hit!" mentality (ignoring the fact that that lowers DPS) it still isn't a very good idea because crit, balance and speed are all just as important, yet completely neglected when going for an imbalanced build. If there's a time and place for attack, it's Maelstrom. Anyone who can afford Explosive probably shouldn't be using it, unless they're gearing up a superpowered sub-60 alt for some reason.

  Maybe if the other characters have weird enchants/low defense, or they're from the "bad" set of characters (sword Fiona, scythe Evie, anyone in the bottom half).

  Her dash+jump thing is pretty quick. Covers a lot more distance than it looks like, and she can spam it faster than Kai can spam grapple, in any direction she wants from any location she wants at any time she wants. It still isn't a very big deal, but it is what it is and it's nice. I'd imagine she can do excellent dungeon speedruns with it too.
