In my gameplay, there is a lot of these issues that occur. For example, Bandit Ambushes/Homestead or being in Taillteann/Tara or even a slows me down.
Just why is that...?

MTU is probably high. Also, lag from text as well as not having nagle disabled or your packets forwarded.

In the sense that my FPS drops dramatically. Like I can hardly see what's going on when I'm near bandits.

Your CPU or RAM is too weak to handle those areas. They are the most graphic intensive for the game. Bandits I'm not sure about.

My RAM is 8.00 GB, there's no way it can't handle that.

Could be your CPU, or your Graphics card having trouble rendering for some reason. I can only name possible sources, idk the cause sorry D:

8 gb ram isn't that helpful if your graphics card or processor sucks though

"Guys I lag sometimes"
"Oh it must be your ram"
C'mon.
If you have a freaking 1ghz single core CPU (Just an example), you can have all the damn ram you want in the world and it won't change jackshit

This lag is also a general thing, until we pinpoint it we can't say what it is for sure. Post everything about your system, including network specs if you can.
