I'd like to know nation's idea of how humans inherently are.
For the poll, there's 3 sets. Please only choose one in each.
Also, I'm not curious as to how you believe adults in a particular culture are. There's lots to consider in that case, including culture, life events, the state of the economy, etc.

I'm in the "basically" category for everything, i'm selfish, i'm pretty good, have evil parts, passionate and greedy, *shrugs* i know you asked for only 3 things but honestly i fit them all too good not to pick them all.

I take it that you meant it was actually something in the middle? I suppose I am lacking neutral options for each thing.

It's hard to say. I've met a lot of amazingly good people, but I've also met a lot of amazingly bad people. Sadly bad people seem to be more common.
You can't really do anything but guess unless you've actually met enough people to formulate a semi-accurate answer. But from what I can tell (which should be at-least somewhat accurate), bad always outnumbers the good. It's like a fucked up law of nature.

All the positive basically choices for me. This is human nature as necessarily dictated by evolution, the rest is culture and statistical variance.
Then again culture is a (if not the) defining part of human nature too, so it arguably was inaccurate to cut it out. Oh well.

Basically Selfish
Wholly Greedy
Wholly Compassionate
Survival instincts are shared amongst any living thing, so we all have this selfishness going on.
Greed and compassionate are higher forms of calculations that make us human.

Basically Evil, Basically Greedy, and Basically Selfish.
Since you are talking about how humans are inherently, humans are basically evil - so the other two options followed suit.
Inherently, humans are evil - which then leads to humans doing evil actions. I would have picked Wholly Evil - if it weren't for the fact humans can do good actions as well. When I think of something that's wholly evil, I think of nothing good coming out of them.
Even though humans can do a "good thing", that doesn't change our very nature. A thief who donates his stolen money to charity is still a thief.
Evil deeds have higher implications and consequences than "good" deeds, both morally and socially.

All of the above, and also None of the above. Human nature cannot be classified as "good" or "bad" there is within all of us the capacity for both great good and great evil. Rejecting one or the other is to deny a part of oneself.
