Why the hell does anyone think they have any business deciding who does or doesn't get married, unless they are the ones getting married?
js.
That's pretty much my point. If you want to marry your freaking cat, I don't see why anyone should care.

I can't say I fully approve of your word choice - but this soo much.
I seriously just realized this 2 minutes ago! After showing my parents this news article, and almost yelling at my Dad for a bit.

Are you people stupid or what?
First he opposes gay marriage, now he supports it.
Are you people that clueless? Are you people that STUPID?
He is proclaiming he is supporting it for the popularity in the homosexual communities which will be translated into votes. Such a proclamation can be political suicide, but thanks to all you oblivious sheep and racist black people who will be voting for this neophyte regardless, political suicide is out of question.
Thank you for your time Romney, and R.I.P America.
PS: The name of this site is Mabination (Mabinogi fanbase forum site) and let's keep it that way. You all sound and look like a bunch of idiots jumping for joy over issues you know absolutely no background intel about. You all obviously know nothing of politics, or political strategies for that matter.
lol'd, please wow us with your outstanding political knowledge then!!1!!
@Drizzit; oh, alright. ~

In that case, you would be categorized under "oblivious sheep".

Wrong, marriage existed long before the ignorance know as religion was put in place.
Religion has existed for as long as people have existed. Your argument is invalid.

You do know that he has ALWAYS supported everything LGBT besides Gay Marriage, right?
I'm pretty sure his stance has been more for than against for awhile now. He just need the last push and urge from supporters.
Seeing as Romney has done more jumping ship than anyone else (and is a typical rich, anti-gay asshole.. for a lack of a better term), I'm afraid your argument holds no grounds here.
So I wouldn't go around calling the kettle black, love.

Back on-topic; I'm not surprised. It was bound to happen sooner or later, though I had always assumed he was for it since he's a-okay with everything else LGBT-related.
Either way, atta boy Obama. I expect nothing less from him.

Even if he supports it, nothing will happen. There's just too many homophobic people (Not just religious people...) in the USA to even let a change BEGIN to happen. Fuck America.
You DO realize not EVERY SINGLE PERSON ON THIS SITE plays Mabinogi? Your comment doesn't contribute at all. Some of us are more educated in some of the most amazing things you can even hope to think about, don't judge every single person in a group based on a few members.

Honestly, people can change their opinions - sure that's fine.
But don't delude yourselves into thinking he's this crusader for "gay rights".
After all, he is a Christian - just as he'd said many times. Or is that a lie too? XD

Well technically, having a President who's for LGBT people is always better than the opposite option. While he can't magically pull laws out of his arse he can help enforce them and sign anything pro-LGBT if it crosses his desk.
It's not much, but it still helps. Better to have slow/limited progress than having everything go backwards. (aside from all the other chaos Romney would bring to America..)

When did I say he was always FOR gay marriage? I now know he was against it. He
has however always been for
all other LGBT rights, including things such as civil unions.
Also, him being Christian has nothing to do with his stance on LGBT people. There are in-fact a lot of Christians who are pro-LGBT, as they should be.

It's already legal here in NY.
Romney and Obama both suck. You can be homophobic without being religious. You can be religious without being homophobic. The term "gay marriage" really shouldn't even exist. If two people wanna get married, why the hell should anyone care?
This has been Drizzit's 100% correct opinions post. Thank you for listening.
