I know for a fact that by pirating, I have generated plenty of money for the entertainment companies. Something that I simply would not have paid money for, I download, tell someone else about how I thought it was good, they buy it.
I can understand why people would be interested in stopping internet piracy, but they're doing it the completely wrong way.
In this case people dont buy it, who would want to pay for a product when anyone can find a source to get it for free?
