Clearing up some rules...

  First off, if you have never read the rules, you need to do so now. Even if you have read them before, I suggest you go back over them until you're absolutely sure that you understand every thing in them. We've noticed lately that a lot of new members seem to be breaking rules right off the bat. Keep in mind that if you're ever unsure of what a certain rules means or what it covers, you can always PM a mod about it.
  
  Moving on, quite a few of our members, old and new, have been breaking one specific (and very important!) rule lately... Spam. Spam is a pretty broad subject that covers quite a few things... yet some people pick and choose what their definition of the word means, and then nobody is happy.
  
  Mabination's definition of spam:
  

  Spam - spam is any off-topic or otherwise useless message. For example, quoting someone and saying “this ^” to express your agreement is considered spam and can result in a warning or infraction. Going off topic or being childish will also qualify as spam, and depending on the situation may also qualify as harassing/trolling or any other number of broken rules.

  Do you get the point? Just think, "is this really relevant?" If it doesn't have anything to do with the topic at hand, or if it's just a +1 or ^ post, don't post it. Simple as that.
  
  A couple of other things I want to point out are double posting and necro posting.
  
  Double posting is considered spam, and it'll get you get you in trouble, too. Of course, this doesn't count in Bean Rua (none of the spam rules do, unless you're being disruptive), but you really have to watch yourself in the other forums. Just edit your post! Easy as that. This is not the Nexon Forums :)
  
  Necroing is when you post in a thread that's been inactive for more than 30 days, excluding threads in Bean Rua and the Guides section. Just make sure you're checking the date of the last post in the thread before you post. If it's more than a month old, just make a new topic!
  
  Oh, and another thing. You can only bump your questions and selling/buying/etc threads once a day. That's every 24 hours. Only.
  
  I can't think of much more you guys seem to be doing a lot lately, but I'll definitely update this if need be. Just remember that if you ever have any questions at all, PM a mod. I'd like to think we're pretty helpful.

  Would be a good idea to let the mods know in that case. After all, they are here to make your stay on the forums as pleasant as possible, letting them know of something on your mind like that can only lead to improvement.

  Oh yeah, the Mods handle any situation pretty quickly and effectively - so I have no complaints.
  
  Anything I felt before was simply a temporary problem, unless it consistently comes up again ... I'm not one to be concerned. But thank you for the suggestion, I'll keep it in mind.

  A question though about that, there are a few threads where I think it wouldn't (or shouldn't) count as an infraction despite not being in Bean Rua, such as the Tracking You thread? Would you agree or disagree?

For example on This page, I did ^ or +1 twice, it didn't really break the flow of the thread. I'm wondering if you'd still consider that an infraction and if I should seek to curb that before it gets me warned. >_>;

  I'm not sure how I personally would stand on those... technically they still count as spam and they're something you should avoid in the future... but I can't speak for the other mods on what they'd do in this situation...

  Usually if a topic gets too spammy in Mabi Talk, like your linked topic, we move them to Bean Rua (as I have since done to that topic). We did this with a few posts, the most notable being the numerous April Fools topics we had.
  
  We tend to be a bit more lenient with topics like Tracking You and Post Your Latest Accomplishment/Failure. But that's usually regarding more social posts where people discuss things, and you're going to be better off just adding some actual substance like Hannah said.
