Atelier games have ALWAYS been pretty.

The gameplay is quite standard jrpg and isn't anything new, but revolves around quite a bit of alchemy and crafting which is where the game stands out.

The previous Atelier games have been all pretty good. Theres no reason to believe this one wouldn't be an improvement upon the last two.

Rorona and Meruru are both so adorable~ The art direction in this game is just amazing.

For Rorona , Totori and Meruru (out on May 29th, been delayed), I'd recommend playing in order since each appear in the game before. In simple, they're sequels to each other. Rorona first, Totori second and Meruru third. Each game improves from its previous game as well. I kinda rushed on Rorona since it was kinda tedious and the battle system was pretty bland. Still fun though. It had a few bugs (game froze multiple times). Totori was much more fun since it improved a lot in terms of battle system. The alchemy system wasn't much different. Hoping to see a lot of improvements with Meruru, never watched any videos of the Japanese version other than the opening.

Oh and just a heads up, most, if not all, games licensed by NISA have dual audio, so you can play with the original Japanese voice.
