I preferred the Japanese CCS, but Cardcaptors was okay. The original series is much, much better.

While I will say that Ghost in the Shell:Stand Alone Complex is one of my top anime to watch, I will concede that after nearly 5 full run- throughs of both seasons, that the show needs a little bit of a rest. I am a little concerned what they mean by "New original anime content." While Big O was alright I feel that there is a humongous list of potential properties to show. Don't get me wrong here, I am over the moon with joy over the return of Toonami, and I would love to see old classics like Outlaw Star, Tenchi Muyo!, Yu Yu Hakusho, et al ~ I don't think it would server our cause to just play these old shows over and over and over again until we run them into the ground like GitS:SAC. And there is a little bit of a problem. From what I understand the broadcast licences for many of our favorite programs from the Toonami era are held by other broadcast networks and organizations. I think CN should however get to work on reacquiring these licenses ASAP! Still I think it will be a good idea to have an even mix of 'new' shows and old shows on a rotating basis. Perhaps they can even try an experiment and show a subbed anime to maybe test whether the anti dubbed segment is as large as it seems to be.

Amen. I stopped watching Toonami when I found I could get the original shows (with only subtitles added) on the Internet.
Of course, that also let me watch shows on my own schedule... without commercials... with the ability to pause and even "rewind"... and I still don't have a DVR. Oh well, carry on.

Was it this?
12:00 a.m. - Bleach
12:30 a.m. - Deadman Wonderland
1:00 a.m. - Casshern Sins
1:30 a.m. - Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
2:00 a.m. - Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2nd GIG
2:30 a.m. - Cowboy Bebop
Can't say I'm missing much. Already seen it all other than Ghost in the Shell. Surprised to see Casshern Sins on there though. Lol at Deadman. Censorship galore? Seems more like Adult Swim than Toonami.
Not like I have cable TV though so what do I care.

I'm pretty sure tons of people are disappointed with this line up but I haven't seen Casshern or Casshern Sins, and Deadman.
However if we reflect back on the aprilfools toonami we can remember T.O.M had a much different personality. Probably because this is considered AS Time Space.

These are just my view of those two series
For Casshern Sins, the series is incredibly... steady paced. It doesn't speed up nor does it slow down. It's literally moves in a straight line from start to end. So don't expect any mind blowing scenes or anything. I personally enjoyed it since it was different than the every day anime.
Deadman Wonderland... just a bunch of gore. I never finished the anime myself because it got kinda boring. I'm expecting them to air the censored version as the anime is very gore-ey, as in limbs and stuff being cut off, 'stuff' being pulled out, etc. Enjoy your gore-fest. Lol.
Anyways, not really anything new to be honest other than those two.
