I have this newfound love for drawing things on one layer, and then just fixing on another layer, then merging. IT WORKS WELL ENOUGH. This was for a contest prize. Now that I'm on break I can actually do those. I'M SORRY YOU HAD TO WAIT SO LONG.

I think you're the second person to do that to my last name. xD
It makes certain things easier, like adjusting anatomy errors in one go. Maybe not as relevant for something like a chibi where the anatomy can basically be whatever, but I was trying this on a bigger piece, and decided it would be easier to just do chibis that way as well. I've only ever done 2 pieces this way, and one of them isn't even finished. But it was fruitful. I've learned a lot.
