The Pre-Generation, The Iron View
A mysterious woman named Nao brings a young girl to the world of Erinn, a place created by the great god Aton Cimeni. She was brought in at a moment of relative peace; though fomors still attack, the land is not ruled by fear. Upon her arrival, she was lead by a weird looking guy to Duncan, a guy who seemed to be the village's elder. After prief introduction, Duncan wrote her name into the air, probably some kind of ritual of this village. She wasn't sure what she would be here yet, she had came in and desired adventure. During her calm life in Tir Chonaill, people often laughted at her for the ugly clothings she had arrived with. They never said anything but she could tell at how they turn around to laught in silence. Personnaly, she didn't mind those clothes, clothing doesn't make a person she thought.
One day, there was this weird girl in red clothing holding a 2 hander sword. That girl had a big red hat and the aura of a cat. Looking at her from the graveyard, the young girl saw how she was droping something on the ground. Once the red girl left, she hurried to the item on the ground. It was a weapon! A Wonderful pink colored metal shaped in a way that it would be heavy and used to squash it's opponents. A Strong and rigid wooden handle coming out of it so that she could hold it. Such a wonderfull weapon indeed. The moment she picked it up, she knew.. This would be her Weapon.
Having found herself a combat teacher later on, she progressed in Melee combat very fast. Her teacher had tried to teach her magic but she could only learn firebolt and it was very weak. She didn't hold much of an attachment to magic but her teacher was quite nice. It didn't take long that she had surpassed her teacher in melee combat. She isn't sure when was the first time they met. She was often in Ciar dungeon because she had gotten sick of fighting spiders in alby, they were so weak and they left ugly colored liquids on her wonderful weapon after she had squashed them. By them, their relationship was more that of friends then teacher and student.
It was maybe around that time that she started to feel out of place in these clothing. She couldn't see anyone else wearing the same thing and all their clothing looked so.. clean.. After nicely convincing her friend to come shoping with her, they went around the Tir Chonaill market and it was tend.. she saw It. But It costed soo much.. she didn't have that much money. It was then that her friend offered Willingly to buy it for her, she didn't even have to ask for it. "You sure about buying it for me?" She said while holding the clothes in her hands. Once it was officially bought, She started to remove her shoes and droped them on the ground while trying to remove her top. Strangely her friend looked around hesitently and then did a large sigh for no reason before turning around and looking elsewhere. *Whats up with her?* she thought as she finally pulled her top off and droped it to the floor. Taking the long black socks, the tried to get them on her long white legs but then noticed how some of the short hair girls without chest were looking at her with weird eyes.. *What's up with them?* She thought while finishing to change up, picking back her shoes and wearing them.
She isn't sure why but her friend avoided her a few days after that but it didn,t take long that they were back to dungeoing in Ciar again. Golems were so hard... She usually had to fight them alone cause her friend was useless against those, she just sat down and watched her fight. During the times they were togeter but not dungeoing, there was a time where her friend had asked her to come with her to Bangor. "What is a Bangor?" She asked her. "It's a town where people make weapon". Make weapon? We can make weapons? They don't simply drop out from weird red colored people?
"Why are we going there?" she asked her.
"Well because you need to get a weapon one day if ya going to keep fighting at close battles" she replied to her.
She stayed silent after that *I already have a weapon throught* she thought while looking at her wonderful weapon. She even asked miss Ferghus for some modification to make it better. After traveling far, they finally arrived to an hot and arid area where the air felt good. Her friend seem to not enjoy the place much throught, she wondered why, it felt so good. Tir Chonaill was so cold that she sometimes casted firebolt just to warm herself up.
Getting past the rumbles of some large rock infront the village of Bangor, they walked down the clift into what seemed to be a wonderful place. The ground was all warm and dry, the air was filled with a sweet smell that she didn't know off. While her friend was looking throught the wares of Edern, she noticed something weird. Edern was using a similar weapon than her to hit something. Why was she using a weapon to do that? She tried to ask Elen about it and was told that was the purpose of a blacksmithing hammer, to forge metal into various things like weapons and armor. "Where do I get this "metal" ? " she asked her and was then given a pickaxe. "Go into Barri dungeon and mine some ores then bring it back". She tried to take her friend with her but she was busy looking at some daggers. "Don't botther me alright? I'm looking for a ritual dagger"
Not able to call for her help, she adventured into the dungeon alone. That place was quite cold compared to the heat outside but unlike other dungeons she tried, this one had lantherns to light the place. Goblins? There are goblins here too? She thought after she opened the first chest. It didn't take her much long. The final goblin was hiding in a corner, trying to run away from her. She grabed the goblin by it's elbow and then smashed her hammer right into it's stomach, squashing it into the wall and leaving it's body there. It was further into the dungeon that she found what looked like to be the ores she was asked to find. It was writen over it "Ores" so..
When she came out of barri with different ores, her friend was there, waiting for her with a scary look. "Really you...sigh" she said with another sigh. Why does she has to sigh that much? Weird girl. ^^ . While giving the ores to Elen, her friend had left the place, something about it been too hot here. Miss Elen teached her how to melt those ores to produce metal and then she learned from miss Edern how to forge this metal. It was quite fun and so she stayed in this village for a few days, producing various things out of metal. She had been troubled by some dreams as of resently but usually tried to ignore them since they were simply dreams.
The Generation 1, The Iron View
The joys of smithing, the smell of hot iron, the feel of dry winds and finally, the never ending musical notes that Edern produce all day long. Bangor, the city of wonders.. The young girl had been passing a long amount of her time within the mines of Barri or smelting ores into fine solid ingots. Her skills as a fighter had much improved since she got her new set of clothing, permitting her to move much more freely. She often looked at how strong looking miss Edern was and wondered how she ever got that much muscles. She even asked her friend the ice mage if it was because Edern is always topless but her friend made her promiss to never try to mimic Edern's style of clothing. It look relatively easy to move with through..
As of late, the young girl had met another person that often asked her to bring her on her trip within the depths Ciar. A nice person in a long black robe. She didn't fight much and when she did, she only smacked her wooden stick at the goblins. But whenever the young girl got hurt, that priest girl always healed her perfectly. Her other mage friend could also heal but she always talked of how it was a "waste of mana" and whenever she insisted, the healing orbs always felt cold to the touch.. That priest girl was a weird one, always collecting moss growing on the floor of Ciar but it was fine because, the priestess girl always gave her some delicious red mixture in return for the help. Those helped her heal her damaged body from golem's punchs when the priestess girl wasn't there.
One night, she got that weird dream again.. much more clearer this time. There was.. this bird girl in a long white dress, with large black wings.. She looked like she was chained to something but it was too blurry to see..
"Can you hear me?..."
"Ah..."
"So you can hear me..."
"This is a difficult request... Come over to this world."
"Tir Na Nog... is in great danger..."
Soon her mind started to hurt a lot and she woke up, seeing the face of her ice friend infront of her.
Raising her head from where she was laying down, the young girl explained her vivid dream to her group that had just raided Ciar late this day. Most laughted at her as she told them of the bird girl. Goddess Morrighan? That's how they refered to the bird girl.. maybe she should start reffering to her that way too. Anyway, her close friend looked relatively interested in that dream.
In the morning, she woke up from the sound of an owl coming down to her ice friend. "What is this about?" she asked her but it seemed to be just a small delivery request from miss Duncan. After a long sigh from her friend, both of them set out to find the earing miss duncan had lost. It was a really easy quest, she found the earing very quickly as the snowmen posed no threat to her and her Blacksmithing Hammer.
Once they got back to miss Duncan, she thanks them but mentions that it was a favor for someone else. "If you head toward Sidhe Sneachta, I hear there is a strange structure there. She said she made the snowman in remembrance of seeing that building… They say the structure is connected to another place by some magical power… But it doesn’t seem just anyone can enter… There are many rumors about a Druid who lost all of his family and couldn’t overcome the sorrow… and he turned into a bear.â€. While her friend looked interested in visiting that place again, the young girl prefered to leave her at that and go repair her all mighty weapon at miss Ferghus. That night, miss Ferghus gave her old hammer back repaired but.. "Oups, sorry my hand sliped..". She was trully sadden by the damage miss Ferghus had done to her hammer but there was nothing she could do about it. "It will cost 135 gold please.." Anyway, later that day, she regrouped with her ice friend and they went to visit miss Duncan again to tell her about what she saw in the snowy forest. Miss Duncan starts in surprise at the name her friend pronounced. It's was name of the third lost warrior, a trio of legendary warriors who went missing while searching for Tir Na Nog. Wait.. where did she hear that name before..
On her friend's request, they both setout to find more information about them and came to find a pendant that hold memories of an event. Using the pendant in Alby dungeon, both of them viewed the memories of a trip a group of 3 people did in that dungeon. What really triggered her interest what the tall flatchest girl with a long sword. She was really powerful and seemed to have had the same dreams than she did. The dream of Goddess Morrighan. Her friend was much more intrigged by the similarities of her dreams and they ended up staying at the village's inn to talk it out. Miss Duncan wasn't much help but she refered them to another who told them to go to Sidhe Sneachta to ask Tarlach herself. That place been way too cold, she only let her friend go to it since she didn't seem to mind the horrible cold of that mountain area.. She remained at the inn alone until her friend cameback and told her what had happened up there in the cold.
The next day, they took their things and left the inn to travel to Dunbarton. On their way there through, they met up with the priestess girl of before. As fellow magic users, they probably would get along well she though but her ice friend seemed more annoyed by her. In the end, she bought a bunch of blue mixtures from her. "Is that a friend of yours?" she asked her and the hammer girl replied that she had met her few days ago at Ciar. When they arrived to Dunbarton, they went to see Aeira the bookseller. She recalls that the book is no longer in stock, but she was very persistent. After staying the night there and talking to her again, she explains that the publisher is printing another volume of it. After waiting another day and talking to her again, she promises to send an owl when the book is ready, shaking a little as she said it. This was really a long time away from her beloved mines but her friend insisted she remain with her.
Part 1 - End
Part 2 - Begin
It had taken them a while but they finally got that little book. She hated book.. so much words and so boring.. Luckily for her, her friend offered her to read it instead so she only had to listen to it. Her friend spoke of a weird story about a world where the undead were brought back to life and that people didn't need to eat anymore. The story was too much fantasy like for her through. In a world where people cannot die, people do not need weapons anymore. She worried her hammer would end up meaningless and strongly hugged it while listening to the boring story *yawn*. In the morning, she woke up in a bed she had no memory of getting into. It was really early and her mage friend was still sleeping. In the room was this black girl looking at them, as if startled. Why was she so close to her friend's bed? That black girl seemed suspicious in the way she acted and just incase, she called out to her and asked her a few questions about her intentions. They talekd for a while but for unknown reasons to her, the discussion quickly shifted from why she was in their room to how more efficiently rest. As a warrior, knowing how to rest was interesting and useful so she took more interest in that than asking questions.
When her mage friend finally woke up, sleepy head, they resumed their quest and her friend decided it was best to go talk to Tarlach once more. Why did they have to go to such a cold place once more was trully puzzleing her. From Dunbarton to Tir Chonail, they traveled but at Tir, she asked her friend if she could just remain in the village until she was done. Her request been denied right away, she unwillingly followed her into Sidhe Sneachta. Once they met up with Tarlash, she took her trusted axe and started cutting some tree to make herself a firecamp to warm up. While not completly interested in what her friend and miss Tarlach were talking, she noticed how her friend was been surounded by those floating ice shards while asking questions to Tarlach. Cold.. so cold.. Atleast her fire was ready. So warm~~ so warm.. so.. cold.. Her fire was begining to move away from her... no, she was been moved away from the fire! Her friend had started to drag her away into the cold.
The next day, they had arrived in Dunbarton. To her friend's proposal, they had to find someone to help them for some excursion into Barri mines. The various other Milletiants weren't much interested in their quest and most of the day went by finding no one. As the sun was slowly setting down, the pink clothed girl noticed her friend the priestess walking by in the city. Quickly she got up from her resting place and called up to her. Her friend was in the city for trading and mentionned how she had trouble these last few days at Ciar dungeon. Upon talking to her about their own problem, the priestess girl mentionned a mercenary who could probably help them for a cost. Returning the information to her mage friend who was playing a litle with her white wood Mandolin, they decided to seek out that mercenary. Near the Dunbarton school, they found a girl in green clothes shooting arrows on wooden targets. Calling out to her, her mage friend talked it out and got her help them.
The next morning, all three of them left for Bangor. The trip over there was quite refreshing compared to the cold of the north. Within the mine section they had to search in, the first thing she noticed was how she had never entered that place. In search of minerals for her blacksmithing needs, she had visited countless times the Barri mines but never seen this layout before. The search didn't go so well as that archer girl was really bad at aiming. Quite a few times during fights, green girl's arrows were missfired and hit the monsters she was fighting instead, messing up her smash. They had a lot of trouble when they had to fight a giant worm that came out of the ground deep within the mines. That archer girl was messing up their teamwork with her miss fired arrows. At the end of the dungeon, they found a fomor who was threatening them and calling those mines to be holy. In a way you could think of those as holy, for blacksmiths like herself mostly, but she didn't think that's what that fomor ment.
Getting the finish hit as she smashed that evil fomor's head, they got some sort of medal from her clothes. Back outside of the mines, that useless archer had left them. Her friend spoke that they should head back to Dunbarton to find the meaning oh that medal. Once at Dunbarton, they found her priestess friend who told them how it looked like a medal of her faith. Unable to help them much, they gotr refered to Meven in Tir Chonaill for more help. Lucky for them, the Moon Gates were leading to that village that night, it saved them quite a few hours of traveling. Both of them took some room for the night and she rested near the fire as her mage friend was playing some soft music for her and the other custommers of the inn. First thing in the morning, they interogated Meven about the medal and learned that it was really a priest medal and that it had fomor writings behind it.
Again more mind puzzle.. neither of them could read the evil language of those evil fomor. Her friend proposed that they could split up and go their seperate way to find more information. That reminded her that there was one of those fomor in Alby dungeon arena. She didn't like the idea of having to talk to that fomor but she had no choice. After asking to take the medal, she left with it and headed to Alby dungeon in which she met the blue goblin within it. From the medal, he could read the words -Dul Brau Dairam Shanon- but refused to translate it for her unless she brother that goblin some dumb ring lost in Ciar dungeon. Once she was back in the inn, she wrote a letter to her friend about what she discovered and handed it to an owl.
A little before sunset, the pink clothed girl headed to Ciar dungeon with a dungeon pass she had gotten from that goblin. Using it on the offering altar, she was transported into a dungeon full of large spiders and remained in it for hours. At the end, she found some giant golem, much harder than those she had met before, blocking the path to the treasure room. It was trully a difficult fight. If she wasn't a Milletiant, she would have died in there, more than once. The fire magic her mage friend had taught her ended up been very useful in keeping that golem at bait. May whoever invented fire magic be blessed... At the end, the golem remained on the ground, it wasn't movng anymore and a small ring fell off from it, rolling on the ground until it came to a stop. That was ptrobably the ring that dumb goblin had lost. Taking it with her, she got out of Ciar dungeon and back to the goblin. It seemed like the words on the medal ment "Goddess, please lend me the moonlight". After she returned to the inn, she waited for her friend to return, she was quite happy cause she would be able to brag she found the meaning of those words before her...
