Does Vancouver get to see it :(
Definitely. It will start at 5pm pacific time, and the max eclipse will be at 6:21. So try and get outside by like 6. You'll also need a viewing apparatus. I'll update the first post with instructions on making a pinhole lens.

It'll be romantic since I'm spending time today with someone else.
Where do you live?

I won't be able to see it with my current state of things...
But I think I'll just watch it through some live recording. Less of a hassle for me.

Sadly, I don't think so. If you do, it would be during sunset.

You should be able to see it right now, Zeo. I can certainly see it right now, so I won't be updating this thread for a few hours.
Happy viewing!

That sure was fun. The next solar eclipse for north america will be October of 2014. Unfortunately, it will only be a partial eclipse.
Our Australian friends will get three more eclipses in that time, each one will have a totality.

It's because you changed from Loki to Thor.
That's why.
