Trying to play Korean Mabinogi Heroes

This is an archive of the mabination.com forums which were active from 2010 to 2018. I heard if you used a proxy you could, is there any verification that its impossible to play the KR vindictus from NA?

It is very possible. Just finding a VPN that works is the problem.

I can verify that you do need a proxy to play.

Normally for Korean Proxies you need to buy one.

You have to pay for a VPN, such as overplay.net

They usually are around 10$ a month, and I can vouch that this one works, I've used it before. In addition you probably will have to buy an account that sales a nexon account. You can search for a Nexon account by getting an account for any of their games, MP, mabi, etc.

I heard you needed something equivalent to a Korean social security number to make a new Nexon account, and that unless you had a pre-existing Korean Nexon account, it's pretty much impossible to make a new one. I haven't verified this, but it's what I've heard.

^Not anymore. Anyone, anywhere, can make KR Nexon accounts now. However, you will need either a VPN, an old account, or verify a KSSN to play anything.

Uhmm..Hi well i tried to play korean vindictus but it didnt work so heres a good news

there is a chinese version of vindictus called Tiancity go search it up if you need help on setting it up leave me a pm and ill try my best
and yes tiancity ISNT IP BLOCKED its proven since i live outside china XD...

A week old, but I feel the need to clarify on this point:
This version is not called Tiancity. It's called æ´›å¥‡è‹±é›„ä¼ (which translates into Mabinogi Heroes), and is hosted by tiancity.
On this topic:
NA / KR premiere are probably still my preferred servers. the CN server I can play wherever, sure, but I found the connection speed comparable to my connection speed to other two servers, which put me off because I run a Proxy / VPN to play NA / KR respectively. On top of that, it runs XE, which is another turn off for me.
On the other hand, it looks like they've gotten (or are getting really soon) Kai, so if you can resist the urge it wouldnt hurt to check it out.

Anyway Yep its true were going to get kai in about a week or two just the next update
and also the CN server has a english patch which im using :whoops:
And XE is not that bad its kinda cool and its balanced too XD...

Well its up to you whether its about your ping or whatnot
