  THIS IS A ROUGH DRAFT. THE FINALIZED DETAILS ARE STILL BEING WORKED ON.
  
  In order to celebrate Christmas and the Pokemon Bank app, which will reunite us with our old friends, we will be holding a small fun tournament in celebration. As Pokemon Trainers, we must grow with every new region discovered. We cannot be tied to our past glories. That is why we will show our old friends how we've grown! Strive forth, fellow trainers! A whole new experience awaits!
  
  This tournament will be held in a broad format. Everyone participating will battle each other once. Whoever gets the most wins is the victor. No real prize has been thought up yet. I could totally bs it and say "the prize is the joy of playing with friends" though. Without further ado here is the tourny info:
  
  Date: Some time between the 20th and 26th of December
  Time: Undecided
  Battle Format: Single Battle, 6 versus 6
  Rules:
  

  
  
  • No Legendaries
    
  • No Garchomp or Tyranitar
    
  • No Torchic, Combusken, or Blaziken
    
  • No Same Pokemon
    
  • No Same Items
    
  • No Weather Teams
    
  • Mega Pokemon are allowed with the following exceptions: Blaziken, Garchomp, and Tyranitar
    
  • No sore losers, excuses, or negativity. This is a fun event, don't sour it.

  There is a difference between "used to be", "one of the best" and "the best". For example, I was one of the best in Maine. My friend Nin is one of the best in North America. And we know this because we actually take part in tournaments and not sit around battling randoms all day thinking to ourselves that we're so much better than everyone else. Sometimes we win, sometimes we lose. The strong ones are the ones who can handle winning and losing with dignity.
