As far as cobwebs go, Alby Normal is like heaven, most of the time. I get quite a few stacks [5~7] per run and the end chest ES is helpful for training. [50INT and i've never had a success EVER, wut?]
Wool isn't as fun to gather, because i'm ALWAYS passively getting leather and cobwebs. Shame that rF has no leather requirements, because i'm starting to run out of bank space...

Really? I just run around in Tir's graveyard. Takes only a couple of minutes for a full inv of stacks, typically. Otherwise I tend to do the same as you, though.
Gonna go get in-game for a bit. TF2's Snipers hate me right now so no use in playing any more for now. SM's anyone?

As for Tir Graveyard, I do go there sometimes, but there's either a.) somebody else there, b.) a red spider annoying me for no reason, and c.) It gets kinda boring.
