Can't use f1 - f12 hotkeys on this laptop?

and this goes for all of the keys
so I can't use my skills assigned to them

Rightclick on your laptop background and click around until you find the option to Disable Hotkeys. Try that.

FN key is boot into the bios using F10 key on startup then in the bios screen select the option system configuration. under system configuration you will find something as action mode keys and change the settings then save the changes and then exit the bios screen.

This should work for other brands as well.

Because right now you have to click FN+F keys right? To get the F keys to work?

On my laptop, the f-keys by default needed to be inverted. You have to change this on start up, or you can hold the fn key each time you use a f# key. Of course, in mabi this is annoying, so you should just invert them in your start-up settings. If you invert them, they'll work as you want, but then you'll have to hold the fn key while you press f# each time you want to adjust brightness or volume, etc
