I'm sure someone would have posted about it already. So I don't think its upon completion....
I can understand where your coming from, but I don't think it's even possible to complete this event in under 2 weeks. Think of it this way. Generation 3 is probably the longest of the 3 generations because of the long periods of time where you're required to wait for the next quest. The total amount of time spent waiting for all these quests adds up to about 11 hours, give or take a little. On top of that, there's all about an hour or so of waiting for G2 quests, so now the total time spent on just waiting for quests is around 12 hours.
If you were trying to complete all 3 generations within a weeks time, you'd have to get all of the G1 missions up to the black barri pass completed. Then on Saturday, you'd have to finish the rest of the G1 missions, complete all of the G2 missions and clear all G3 missions up to Baol Infiltration all by Sunday. Even if you start doing all of this at the earliest time possible, you'd only have about 48 hours to accomplish all this. Subtract the 12 hours waisted on waiting and you've got at most 36 hours to complete all those quests before Baol Infiltration.
Now here's where things get a little tricky. In order to meet the deadline, you must complete at least 48 floors worth of dungeons in a 36 hour span. That leaves you with about 40 minutes per dungeon floor, and that's neglecting all the other fetch quests you'd need to do in between that tend to eat up time, so realistically, you're probably looking at completing every since dungeon floor in about 20-25 minutes. And with the expection of some of the easier dungeons (a.k.a Alby and Ciar), completing dungeon floors this fast neigh of impossible, unless you have a fairly strong character which your most likely not gonna have at this point.
To add to this, you'd have to somehow find a way to get to Ceo Island to complete some of the missions that require you to talk to Muro or Aer in order to advance the game. If you didn't plan ahead and get a housing coupon that takes you to Ceo Island, then your pretty much stuck waiting for the moon gate to take you there since there's no other quick alternative. Also, there's a G3 quest which requires you to talk to Rua at the Bean Rua. Unless your increadily lucky, you'll probably have to wait for her as well.
And finally, the biggest game changer that would make this attempt impossible it the simple fact that you'd have to stay awake for the entire 48 hours spent on accomplishing this hellish task. I don't know about anyone else, but I don't think I could stay away that long to do something like this. I'd just wait til next week to finish all this rather than try to push myself to get this done.
Now considering the fact that this event started on July 8th, only a week has passed since the start of this event and there hasn't been enough time for people to have completed this event. We might start seeing some information on the prize sometime later today or tomorrow if we do get the reward after finishing all 3 generation, but again no one's really sure about this yet so I won't say more until the weekend has passed. At that point, we can more or less confirm that the prizes are given at the end of the event.
