Well I checked wiki on nexon page (when i get bored I just go to wiki :thumb:)
And here is some quotes I found:
NEXON America will soon replace their current portal, Nexon with their new game portal Block Party to attract an older audience
NEXON America will be launching their new gaming portal, Block Party in the summer of 2010. NEXON America has announced that Dragon Nest and Vindictus will be the first two games to be launched through Block Party. They also announced that Crazy Arcade would be released through their original portal. Vindictus is expected to be released in the Fall of 2010, and Dragon Nest released in very early 2011. As of March 2010, only the American version of Crazy Arcade, Pop Tag! had been released.
I'm scared more pervs are coming to nexon
But block party is coming this summer?
Maybe with the vindictus release of Open beta?
I also have doubts that it will be released this summer since no big information has been said

Its strange, they talked about block party, but then it mysteriously disappeared!
Not even on their main page anymore, if i had to guess, I would say that they gave up on it.
I would be surprised if they actually went through with the change.

I dunno why, but these booger characters remind me of some random show on Cartoon Network.

I don't see the problem, they don't really impact gameplay :s Unless it's the principle.

To tell the truth, I welcome this change.
The main nexon forums are in terrible shape (GM Mabey said so himself in a sticky post a long time ago)
Switching over to blockparty would finally fix this problem (since it's also been stated that they're not going to try any forum fixes since blockparty is coming "soon")
I have no clue why they're using the weird little green "blockheads", but this is Nexon we're talking about, when do they ever make sense?

How will this attract an older audiences?
Sexeh Girls (Nao, DFO Girls?, etc.) is for younger audiences?
And little green people who look like Just For Laugh's ripoffs are for older audiences?
