Looking for some guidance

This is an archive of the mabination.com forums which were active from 2010 to 2018. So my account was hacked about approximately two weeks ago and I am at a loss at what to do.
I had posted here way back then and I only recently started playing Vindictus again, and please note that I am not asking for a hand out of any sort. I am also to blame for being hacked as I did not have a security code.

I have lost about maybe 25 mil of stuff and sunglasses (~200mil) I held onto around the time the beta had ended. My account was stripped completely by a hacker and I had already sent in a ticket the moment I realized I was hacked and I'm still hoping customer support isn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be.

I was approaching endgame, I guess, but I don't have many friends that play this game the few that do are able to help me out and I'm at a complete loss with what I feel are limited options.

1. Try to farm mats or something to get money in order to get gear to play.
2. Quit Vindictus (starting a new char is unlikely)
3. ?

I haven't played since I got hacked two weeks prior and I'd like some opinions and suggestions from you guys, even if most of you don't even play anymore. I was a lvl62 sword Fiona if that helps.

I'm sorry to hear that happened... I'm sorry, but I can't sympathize completely. I've never been hacked in that way...

If I were you, I think I'd end up taking a hiatus for a while, but when I do get back to the game, I'd make a new character of my main character's class and try from there. I wouldn't delete my current characters unless I had to (like, to make up room).

I hate to break it to you, but you're going to be waiting a while. I sent in a ticket myself after getting hacked. It's been over 4 months that the ticket has been "pending" while they "investigate" the loss of my 75m.

Set up a code and start again. They may give the stuff back eventually...

If you want and you're on East I'll sign in later and send you a million to get things started/cover repair costs.

To the OP: Start afresh, join a guild. This can give you a new start on the game and maybe you could do a different character that you might be interested in. Otherwise, GG.

I'm not very prone to getting phished or keylogged, but no one can ever be too sure right? I still think Nexon getting hacked has to do with it. So I guess the point I'm trying to make is to have a security code.

Shame. I find it ridiculous, along with the amount botting and spamming that goes on ingame. I really appreciate the offer and I'm also on the East but I'm not very good at taking things from people, and I wouldn't want to be a nuisance to you. Not even sure what could do with it though.

I figured those were my options. I'm not particularly good at finding guilds however.
Honestly, when I found out I wasn't all too angry, just really disheartened. The big thing though was the time invested into this character it being my beta character and all. It's very unlikely I'll make a new one.

For now, I think I'll take a hiatus from Vindy and stick with Diablo. If they didn't have server maintenance all the time.
I'll update if I ever hear anything from Nexon and the consolation is appreciated (:
