if you look at TF2's store pricing
it's very similar in that everything (if not, most of the items) in the store can be dropped randomly ingame
you can also trade stuff from TF2 like hats for voice packs

Well I didn't say I didn't find TF2's pricing stupid. But 15$ for voice files still takes the cake for me.
