Hope is a better healer than Vanille.
Anyone is better than Vanille. Why can't everyone have Death?

What?! Aren't FF games supposed to be long as hell, full of side quests, etc? Q~Q I mean, FFXII takes a long time to finish even if you skip everything and go for the main story only. :U
Beat FF1 in 2 days
Beat FF7 in 1 day
Beat FF8 in 2 days
I never really tried a rushed run of other FF's. The only one that I know for a fact that I can't beat within 2 days would be FF6.

Maybe a natural magic challenge could be done in under 2 days?

It took me like 30 hours to beat FF3, am I doing it wrong or is it just that hard?

No, you're doing it wrong.
I don't even know which FFIII you're talking about.

original PC version of VII is kind of shitty though

I know FF3 on DS is easy enough to beat in a day if you cheat by multiplying your elixir's and phoenix down's.

Eh, I don't think you could beat it in a day, even with item duplication glitch. At best i'd make it to the Surface World with some time to spare.

Are they really that bad? I remember playing them ages ago and they seemed okay, controls included. Never finished FF8, though. I hope they will re-release that as well. Was there something else you didn't like about 'em?

There is an easier way guys.
Get a usb controller
Download ps1 emulator
Then download ff7 iso
then enjoy.

I kept mashing the wrong buttons in VIII ;-; literally 1/3rd of my keyboard was mapped with silly keys
+ it took me ages to set up and I still kind of don't get junctioning.
ALSO I NEED TO PLUG IN A KEYBOARD WITH A NUMPAD EVERY TIME I GET A NEW CHARACTER IN VII APPARENTLY. JUST. TO. PRESS. ENTER.

Thing that gets me is FFVII and FFVIII pc ports don't work on Windows 7, or at least they don't for me. I've tried the emulator thing too, set everything up properly, and it just refuses to work. I have no clue what I did wrong but I'm going to figure it out eventually. I desperately want to play FFIX again. That was my first Final Fantasy game, and by far my favorite. I remember playing it when I was like six years old, it took me months to beat back then because I'd get distracted by everything.

I didn't even know these ports existed.
