Mabinogi Scheduled Maintenance (06/28/12)

  At this point, I'm fully expecting a 1 day maintenance or so...probably got overconfident from fast weeklies. I really do hope they better plan some compensation/events because what they have so far is just typical nexon.

  Has anyone noticed that they always have problems when they apply updates during the night? Usually when they apply them during the day there are less extensions. Maybe because almost everyone at nexon is there. Also you have to remember, some of the team members at Nexon are at the anime expo right now.

  Most likely they just decided to stop trying and come back because they messed something horribly up and it's time to stop working and someone who can fix it comes in. I don't get why they couldn't just simulate the updates beforehand on an empty server though, and then fixing that before they actually apply it to the real servers.

  I have an honest question. Why are we all getting mad at Nexon? Yes, they take a while to add patches and updates. Have most of us took classes of programming or even been to Nexon HQ? I know there was some mabinogi person, I think Light or someone who went to Nexon HQ and got the laptop. We shouldn't honestly assume it's their fault we can't enjoy Mabinogi. It's programming, after all. It's NEXON. They .. 'try' to add events (that make us pay money) so they can do their business. I'm actually not that mad at Nexon atm, cause I'm sick, and I should be sleeping in, but I'm doing something more productive like watching youtube videos :).

  There's no surprise at all when they take an abnormal and ridiculous time to update Mabi. I waited longer maintenances than this one, so you might as well wait. Patience is virtue.

  I do see the disappointment but I see it as expected disappointment. They knew it was going to happen but are disappointed anyways.

What's worse is they decided to do it over night too. I think they believed 7 hours to be enough time and wanted everyone to have the update by the time they were up and ready to play, but failed to deliver that. You people need to just chill the fk out and do something else. Jeez. *turns back to playing Dragon's Dogma and working on some writing stuff while I wait*
