Quote from NewbieNub;98183:
Now now, humans do not suck.
In this world, there's always two sides to things.
There's the awful people. The people where you base your opinions on. These people are the bane of the society, though rarely seen at times, they're still used to judge a community. These particular individuals are those who which you would say, humans suck.
There are also wonderful people. You do know them, may it be your parents, your friends, your family, your neighbours or even someone you've never seen before... No matter how horrible you've been to them, they'll always be there for you, watching out for you. Looking after you in various ways and caring for you. These are the people who I've experienced, come to love and converse with. These are the much forgotten, beautiful side of the human spirit. People do share and care for each other, but it's rare that one would realize that he or she is in the bliss of under someone's watchful wing.
The beautiful side of the human spirit is like a diamond in the rough. It's sure valuable, but you can never see it's true value till you learn to understand what's actually happening around you. Sure, the nasty side does stand out at times... But do remember, you can't judge everyone because of particular individuals.
Besides, it ain't really nice to say that you suck, ain' it?
You are naive. It wasn't the point of this thread that there are still good people out there who would step in.
I can either treat each person as a very unique snowflake and psycho-analyze each one, postulating and theorizing and all that-- or I can take operantly useful knowledge and use it.
Fact is:
Most people are not worthwhile.
Most people are not interesting.
Most people suck.
Most people are predictable.
Most people are idiots.
Most people are Most people. Including those who think they aren't.
And especially girls that say "I'm not like other girls." I was at this one party the other day and I heard two different girls say that phrase. I wish they could have said it next to each other so they would know how ridiculous they are.
The other girl there, the one I chose to go after was just funny, playful, and made the night interesting, rather than bragging about her uniqueness, she was unique.
What I'm educating you about are the so-called "exceptions to the rule". These "exceptions to the rule" do not make up the majority. Do you understand now?
Fact is that the majority of the people wouldn't step in if they heard something like that.
