  well it's not about what it contributes to the environment it's just the fact that its a native species I should be protected, doesn't matter if it's an arachnid, insect, fish, mammal, crustacean, reptile, or plant.

  I think you're thinking of the brown recluse. Those are nasty little things that can kill you if you're bitten.
  
  I also find it funny that this guy kills the brown widows and releases the black widows...isn't he supposed to be a wildlife specialist? Oh, entomologist...even worse.

  You'd think that if spider bites were such a big deal, they'd just work on wiping them all out. I honestly don't care as long as the annoying little buggers stay out of my way. Nature does what nature wants to do, so it's best to let it be.
