It's free if you're gonna spend the money anyway.
I haven't in all the time I've been playing, but I guess some people do.

Well now's a good time to make a full +10 double r9+ enchanted set NX wise.
Except the number of people who could afford to do that with both NX and gold are probably well under 100. This game isn't even much of a NX sink besides getting equipment anyways, and the people aiming to get equipment are a completely different demographic than those who aim to look nice (in general).

I dont see why people like the wings though, I mean they add that ugly steel corset on female characters.

Don't think it would take $200, lol... $100, sure, I'll give you that, but it's not THAT expensive if you already have the gold to buy the weapon, the stones, the scrolls, etc. If you're buying amps then yeah it's easily $200 depending on what you're making. Might even be a good bit more.

In other games this is really true, but I find people who look nice usually have above average stats. I guess there's a few who don't, but they're about as rare as 13K+ people with default inners.

Well I think there's a difference between fusion and just dyeing. A lot of people who have the nice sets just dye them. Very few actually go all out and fuse things. Of the people who fuse, I've seen plenty of decent (~12k Att, ~7k Def) players with full fused sets and all this fancy stuff that doesn't increase their stats at all.
The problem is Vindi is sort of focused on the combat, it's hard to socialize in Vindi compared to other open world MMOs. So you sort of lack that demographic who only wants to look nice. I get the feeling that most of the cosmetic items (Sunglasses, etc.) are focused around a few players anyways.

I'll agree that fusing attracts a different group, for the most part.

At least it'll match the
Halo event item (if Nexon gives it to us later).

Nexon's profits pretty much lie directly in the few dozen individuals who cash out hundreds of dollars on a weekly basis. And trust me, theres quite a few of people who do.
So this is mostly a fanservice for those people who keep the company alive.

Ugh, I'd really like those wings. I can't dish out $200 in only 2 weeks, though, that's BS.

If they cut the amount down by half, then they'd probably get a nice boatload of people working for the wings... :fail2:

Same mindset as people in Mabi. "Not a lot of people have this item, so it must look amazing."
