I've seen a few people who state this title in there siggys. Just curious what that entails? I'm getting close to finishing all magics in the magic tab to date. When those are r1 or capped does that make me a master of magic?

It is just a made title for people who believes they master all their magic. Usually either get all the master title (except Enchant) with cap r6, or just plain r1/r6 cap stuff except for Enchant.
You can call yourself Master of Magic anytime.
I supposed some would argue that all magic skills have to be master title or r6 capped with full training to be a Magic Mastery. Some would argue it is about skill usage rather than skill ranks, and run around with some rF magic.

I wonder when would they uncap magic mastery so there would really be master of magic. :[

Bragging rights on both ends, how you use it and what rank/effort it is.
Once Magic Mastery gets uncapped, it wouldn't make sense to have those "rights" anymore. Especially with "Master of Magic" title stats, and Dan tests for Magic Mastery.
However, know that to be a Master of Magic, you'd need to have all 3 intermediate magic skills first. v.v Not necessarily having both "the Noob Elemental Master" and "the Elemental Master," but just the 3 intermediate spells and Blaze.

hmm All my magic but healign and IS (rank 1 in 2 weeks) are capped or r1. I normally don't get master titles unless I plan on using them.

I don't know the specific details, but I did read in a thread a while ago that there are Dan tests for Magic Mastery, just like for Combat Mastery and Ranged Attack.

As far as I'm concerned (and I pretty much invented the term), Master of Magic is possessing the master titles for all seven major spells currently uncapped: Icebolt, Firebolt, Lightning Bolt, Ice Spear, Fireball, Thunder, and Healing. As much of the rest of the magic tab is capped below R1, the rest of the skills don't really count. Enchant is a life skill, or ought to be.

Isn't Master of Magic the master title for mastering Magic Mastery, which is yet to be uncapped?
:U I've never master and its variations that many times in a single sentence.

"Master of Magic" as a master title is indeed the title for mastering Magic Mastery.
The term "Master of Magic" as I coined it refers to having mastered the major magic skills. Also, when I coined the term, there was no word on a master title for Magic Mastery. =P It conflicts now, but it didn't originally.

Do want. Ice Spear will wreak havoc on Thunder and Fireball users.
Whoops! I froze the enemies before your Thunderbolts/Fireball landed. :D

I can't find that stupid link where I read on this Dan test for Magic Mastery. Dx
Don't take my word for 100% until I find it.
EDIT: Yeah, I'm wrong.
It happen to be that Dan IV and Master of Magic were in the same sentence, but I found out it was just the patch notes for JP servers. I incorrectly read the two features together and thought there would be a Dan test for Magic Mastery.

You'd have to be stupid to use anything but IS in an all-magic-goes Dan test. IS is faster than the other advanced spells, and since Dan tests are all about getting the most score possible in a set amount of time, IS is obviously the best choice.

Thanks trigger. Was always curious about that. Hmm so I'm still a ways from that since I normally don't master skills I don't use title for. But....maybe I will. Do you have dan 3 on all those now?
