Hello ladies and gents. I'm trying to figure out dyes and colours.
See the colour of my Short Swordsman? That is the ideal blue colour that I would like for my clothing, especially my Coy. However getting the Coy I noticed that Its mainly browns and natural tones.

Is the blue of my swordsman available in a fixed dye? It feels like one of those impossible to get colours and I love the shade.
I've seen a link where you can see all the available. dye colours but that doesn't really help to where i want to find it or how i can achieve it in either a fixed or a random amp.

I know that link, but it doesn't have all the shades. I know that for a fact now :\
*edit. Nevermind, it vanished when my computer died.
I think I might've seen something close to that shade somewhere.

I have the link bookmarked on my computer. I just want to know if that shade is possible in a fixed dye.

I don't think that *exact* shade of blue is available in a fixed dye no. At least, I've never seen that exact shade, but I ahve seen something close. You could settle for that unless you're super, super picky with exact colors. In that case, you'd have to use regular dye amps to dye your Coy. What part exactly are you trying to dye? Because if it's the main vest part that's already that greenish-blue, then you're out of luck because that uses the leather pallet and I don't think your shade of blue is ever gonna come out of a leather pallet.

I've seen practically all colours, I'm sure you'll find it somewhere. Patience is key :P
Also stalking housing board and market channel.

Ah, I'll take a screeny if I happen to see one. I don't actually have the dye itself =X

Its cool. I was also deciding between another blue colour. But the only reason im not thinking about it is becuase my sister uses the colour and she'd be unhappy with me if i did the same colours as her XD

You'd be much better off getting that color with a fixed dye and I can guarantee that at least very close to it is possible (I can't guarantee that exact shade, number for number RGB-wise because that's impossible since I don't even know the hex code for it) because I've had 2-3 blue dyes that look like that. I can't show you what they are because the game is down, but here's a screenie I found of someone else's dye collection where they had a similar one. The first one is more close, I think.

Also, just a note: The color of a lot of fixed dyes actually appears more faded on certain clothing than on the dye itself, so you might want to be careful when picking the right shade.

Not advocating anything here, incase someone gets offended. However (__) has the ability to view hex colour codes on clothing, use that to find the rgd out, then run that through dye lite. That's how I'd go about it, or ask a friend who has access to those things. Although, I dont have a dye lite that works, so It'll basicly just tell you where the hue is on a map. It's unlikely that you'll get the exact hue though, atleast down to ~10% off.

Well, yeah, that thing can. But the problem is that since all the items are shaded (so there are parts on the fixed dye that are darker than the actual color it will dye and lighter too), it's kind of hard to tell where the exact color is.
Edit: Oh wait, I thought you were talking about the zoom tool on dye lite. Well, if it's another program, I don't know then. :x

Actually, there's a spot on the dye which will tell you exact colors.

So you can tell, this 'white' dye isn't pure white (which would be 255/255/255)
'Something else' will tell you hex codes on clothing and weapons themselves, so a combination of these two should help you in your search for the perfect dye.

Oh, I didn't know that there was that spot. Thank you. It will be helpful. :)
