Play Kai, or no play Kai?

  I'm a bit bored, especially after I've capped out my Lann's level, skills, and of course AP.
  
  I wonder if I should play Kai to pass the time?

  That's a question that only you can answer, unfortunately.
  Give him a try, see if you like his playstyle. If you've already maxed out your Lann completely in every single way possible, there's no reason not to play Kai. Even if you haven't maxed your Lann there's no reason not to play Kai anyway.

  Also what happens every time I play a new character is that the core gameplay is new and pretty fun. Then I get used to it and I realize I still have to grind like 70 boring missions until I can get to the raids again, then I get bored and stop and go back to my Fiona.
  
  It's still worth making one anyways (though after the release rush, the laaaag) as you don't lose much from it. It can help make you appreciate some things on your main character of choice. I find it also helps a bit in party play, as you start to notice little things that each character wants to do in parties and can help you understand what decisions people will make. Familiarity with your party can be pretty important too.
  
  Really the thing is you only lose some time, and if you wouldn't have been spending that time improving your Lann: you lose nothing (within Vindi, you still lose the time).

  Yeah, most hated aspect of a new class is the amount of people playing the new class.

  The only exception was with my Evie/Fiona(both of which are lvl 70). I was able to get them both to lvl 44 back whenever that was the cap and I leveled them up taking turns on either character. But with Kai I think I might get him up to around lvl 40-50 before I get tired of grinding and replaying all of the older dungeons for the 4th time in a row. I'm just interested in playing with something completely different for a change.

  I'm sure that there will be some "technical difficulties" if they were to release it on the 18th, which would probably be delayed to the 19th or 20th.

  The update will be next Tuesday or Wednesday night, unless they want to do the update during the day. You are also assuming that technical difficulties will take the game a whole extra day to be open which probably won't happen. I expect 3-5 hour extensions though.

  No not yet. They haven't updated their scheduled maintenance on the site either so I'm guessing they haven't even started. Either that or while they update we're allowed to be in-game now....
