Can't you use /flushdns to solve the not being able to get on the site early problem though? O.o
That's only local.
You get the actual info from DNS servers, either your ISPs ones, or 3rd party.
flushdns would be ideal to do when switching dns servers, to clear your local cache and get the info from the new dns provider, but if you just go off and grab the same info from the same place it's useless, unless the dns server clears its cache before you.
