You skip all the way to lv 50?
Why does Nexon EU always make such bad decisions?
Theres gonna be so many lv 50's running around with no ap or skills at all.

Now why would you do that? Doesn't EU just have Vindictus XE?

Isn't that a really, really bad move? All the new players starting out instantly level 50 is going to cause so much chaos.
I'll just go get some popcorn and see how this goes.

Europe does indeed have XE.
The main draw in jump characters are that it allows you to make an alternate character easily. It's mainly to try and get players to come back to the game. It's not hard to level in Vindi anyways, just boring and tedious.
I'd rather we have a jump event after Kai or Vella are released honestly.
We already have a bunch of Lv. 50s running around without any AP and/or stats anyways due to how easy Hidden spam is. If you check people's stats, you'll find there are actually a lot of people sitting at a mere ~120 or so titles, which means they skipped half the content on the way to Lv 70 and just spammed a spider all day.
There's probably going to be at least a small level requirement to create a jump character (like DFO's).

My Lann is one of those Lv. 50's I'm afraid...I did everything based on quests up until Lv. 41 and then spammed hidden for an hour or so a day and reached 50 with crap for stats.
I hope they do the jump event for whenever Kai/Vella comes out because it's not like we haven't done the lower level boats before. And yes, I think if they do offer the jump event you would have to already have a character 60+ in order to qualify to create one. That would make the most sense considering what a nightmare it would be for original players to deal with new players in level 50+ dungeons.

All I have to say is,
Vindictus is the only MMO/online RPG where I've seen this kind of event.
And for good reason.

I've seen an entire site have all their games do this at once.
I kinda like it.
Look, I know that a lot of new people suck and will get totally run over by Irukul their first time playing, but I think it could do more good than bad. They should know they're going to be challenged more than if they started in Perilous Ruins.

NA DFO recently had a similar event (only knew about it due to the NX event regarding it as well).

In case anyone wants a general idea how Nexon NA does these things.
Interestingly enough, this was just before the 2nd Anniversary for DFO. Vindi's 2nd year is coming up pretty soon.

I kind of thought the traditional way of playing was to learn the basics, not be given a handful of levels immediately and start running into bosses with no idea what they're doing. Absolutely poor and skill-less.

KR Dragon Nest has done a jump event twice.
