Trying to deviate from the FRONT POSE SIDE POSE BACK POSE and see if I can do some angular poses. But drawing in three dimensions is really hard :/

After like an hour of scribbling I finally got this down, but it still felt really off...
And then I tried to draw the head and it was awful and difficult and I eventually gave up.
So I chopped her head off.
Yup.
Done with this piece.

If you ask me, the head looked fine. Maybe a bit too round in my eyes, but I suck horrendously at drawing or art in general

It wasn't too round. Anatomically speaking, it scaled properly for moeblog figures.
My problem was getting the perspectives right.

I know it's too late now, but I would have suggested a side-view of the face to make it seem like she's looking down at something on the ground slightly in front of her if that makes any sense at all. It's very difficult to draw angular poses for me as well but I think you did a great job, especially when this is one of your first attempts.

The rear looks a bit too large to me.

I made it smaller than almost every anatomy figures suggested.

Did you just start off with the line art? or had something under? cause without starting basic body shapes you will have hard time figuring out perspective and poses.

I drew the skeletal frame first. But after erasing and drawing and erasing and drawing so much i ended up erasing most of it and then came out this outline instead. :/

Erase less, keep starting on new layer

Erase less, keep starting on new layer, read just and refine
Like my previous work, I went over 4 layers till I got a better line
Edit: doesnt matter how ugly it looks, just keep going over it. You will eventually get to the level where you will get it in one or two shots

Well I suppose I try to remember to do that.
Its something I'm subconsciously reluctant to do because I have many-layer-phobia.

Its easier when it becomes a habit. Drawing whenever you feel like it just makes it hard.

Right? Sometimes I dont feel like drawing unless I'm inspired. Listening to new songs help.

I rarely ever draw unless it's inspired by a song. And then I draw until the song bores me, then I switch to something new.
That's why when I do requests, I always ask for a song as well.
