I don't know Renton seems fine to me a bit whiney but meh better than that kid from Mirai Nikki now he's biggest bitch I have ever met.

I just hope you finished Eureka Seven before you say that because unlike most generic male characters, he actually has character growth. Also, what can you expect? A child/teenager fighting a life and death situation, at the very least it's more realistic, not in the mecha genre but the character personalities, than it is in other series. Random teenagers would not be all mighty in a life or death situation like they're always thrown in like every shounen. Of course though, Renton wasn't a favorite character for me but I can't agree that he was bad character. He's just doing what a kid/teenager does.

Talking to me? Because like I said I think Renton is fine. I just hate whining because it just bothers me I don't know. Like Madoka whined too much too for me, so it's just me being stupid or something.

I've despised his character since the first episode and from then even up till the end I've disliked him regardless of any character development he's had. It's not the whineness that gets me, I just loathe him.
Besides we've already seen what happens when you put a teenager through life and death situations in Evangelion. Hell for all of Shinji's whining and wimpiness I still like him far more than Renton.
