Youtube connects to different servers to play the exact same videos.

You're unlikely to ever upload a video to the same server. Youtube is likely running on gigantic clusters of servers at various locations around the world in Google's many datacenters, and your videos are probably moved around constantly by Google's system. Today your video might be in the western US, tomorrow it might be somewhere in europe, or it might even be split into pieces all over the world. Only google could tell you.
