Rep gets transferred but converted to their new system which is more similar to a "like" system. Each "+rep" someone has given you, regardless of how many points it gave, will be converted into one "like".
Gold will be transfered but I'm not sure what I'll do with it yet. I can either transfer it as it is, or convert it with something similar to an exchange rate to either make it lower or higher, depending on the new "value" of gold, which is determined by how much easier or harder it is to actually get gold on the new forum. I'll have more info on that when it's much closer to moving time.

I'll wait until the system is implemented before judging, but I just hope it doesn't become like youtube with 90% of posts being just people looking "Likes/Thumbs up/Top comment"

I'm friends with a few mods, and I still get infractions and bans.
I've been banned about 3/4 times, which is about the same as you have been soinstead of bitching about favoritism, why not be thankful they let our asses back in? Because if the shoe was on the other foot, I'd never let someone like me come back.

I don't know where you get your information from but I've infracted people I would call friends more than once. I've also refrained from infracting people that I'd love to infract.
That aside, I think it's better if we just wait for the new forum. Re-enabling the ability to buy pets will just create more work for the move in the long run, won't it?
