It doesn't go from 0 to 100, it goes from the highest point in that timeframe to the lowest in that timeframe, which is about 50% of the highest, so there's still lots of headroom. Look at the numbers.
They could still make a lot of operative profit either way. If stocks were vital for economic operation, corporations that don't trade stock (
such as Valve) wouldn't exist.
