Vindictus Guides Event

This is an archive of the mabination.com forums which were active from 2010 to 2018. Vindictus Guides

Just like with the mabinogi guides when Nation opened up, we're now having a vindictus guides event.

Vindictus is right around the corner (according to nexon), and I'm sure there will be lots of confused players in need of guidance.

All guides posted from today until September first will get double the gold payout, so long as the guide is something that will benefit people. Vindictus is a "new" game for most people, so there's many opportunities here for guide-making.

All guides worthy of a gold payout will also be published to the front page like usual. Payouts will range from 50 - 500 gold (or maybe more for epic guides) depending on how good the guide is, if it's well organized, and if it's something very quick and effortless or if you put work into it.

Post all guides in the vindictus guides section and PM me the link to it: Vindictus Guides

Eh, I don't know how I feel about this. Basically it'll encourage people C&P guides with no repercussion for stealing. Plus since well thought out guides are long, they'd be getting a lot of gold just for posting.

I understand wanting to have all the guides in one place, but it seems more respectful to make a thread for "links to externally hosted guides".

It's the same rules as the mabi guides, stealing them isn't allowed. Posting them with permission or if the author of the guide can't be contacted is acceptable.
Unlike Mabi though, Vindictus doesn't have a billion English guides floating around so pretty much anything someone writes at this moment would be an original guide.

I might pots a guide if I'm in the mood (and if I somehow get a beta key), though chances are the guide won't be very helpful since I haven't had my hands on the game yet since I'm too lazy to try and get a korean pass. Now if only I could get a beta key...

Now that the beta is playable, don't forget about the guides.
Also extending the event to the end of open beta (if there is one) so everyone gets a shot, even those who weren't in CB.
