This few pages short examination of various studies about different aspects of the national health care systems of various developed countries should shed a bit of light on positive and negative prejudices regarding the US system, or at least be somewhat interesting to read, and perhaps invite to study the issue further (best outcome).

Also, this is not an extensive overview over the issue of health care quality or system efficiency, and you can not draw a valid conclusion based on this paper alone. This paper here is a nice addition.
