300 baits. 300 baits.
I have rank C Taming and I'm using a Courcle Taming Cane.
The wiki mentions the Tikka Wood Taming Cane in the guide in pretty much every successful attempt.
So my question is, is the Tikka Wood Cane any better than the Courcle one? Like does it increase the success rate in a way or something?
:pissedoff: Do not like.

It does improve success rate a great deal, and they're not that hard to find. Just go explore Patnay Swamp for 2x2 artifacts and open up any of the artifact boxes you find. There's a pretty decent drop rate of Tikka Canes from them.

I don't think you'd get anywhere anytime soon with rC tame and courcle cane/bait, lol.

If I remember correctly they changed it from r9 -> rC requirements :what:
Though much easier with Tikka @_@

You'd probably want RA / R9 taming...
EDIT: Oh did they?
Geez, I should tame it then...
I remember someone actually taming the boar at rank F with Tikka Cane / Bait, but
it took them like, 600 tries.

They did, but with a courcle cane it'll still take you a hella long time.

It's the cane.
You need a Tikka Cane to get it with Rank C.

I used a Tikka Cane and normal bait and I got it on my 20th try? Maybe.

Exactly, wiki states that you need a Tikka taming cane with Rank C Taming in order to tame it. I got it on my...I think 10th or so attempt. (Bait doesn't matter)

Higher rank CoD makes the success rate higher :D I capped it but still never tame...
-
Chillax wrote on 2010-07-22 09:18
Tamed it on the 5th try with Tikka Taming Cane+Courcle Bait+rC Taming.

Er... I have a spare tikka taming cane. Want to borrow it for a while?

I did it with Ancient, though it took me something like 50-60 tries.(rC too)

If they haven't changed the r9-.rc then get you taming to 9 and get a tikka cane with some tupai bait like that I was able to tame when with like 20 tries
