As much as ninty has poured DQ with love over here, the wii is officially abandoned. Maybe The Wii U version will reach NA shores, I certainly hope so.
Also, I wonder if those beta testers were aware they were right next to Horii himself.

That is supposing you can also play online with the Wii disc in the Wii U.

Wasn't that one of the first confirmed features?
What I fear is another FFXI, where down the road, the ps2 (Wii in this case) version was holding down the updates for the PC version.
