Persona 4 Arena

  I'd recommend the PSP version since it seems you've already played P4.
  P3P is graphically inferior to the PS2 versions, but adds some of the improvements they made after P4 (Full party control being the most notable one). It will be baffling having played P4 and return to the annoying AI controlled party of P3.

  I've been playing on PS3. I main Aigis, recently started playing with Mitsuru (who I love because she's exactly the playstyle I always play)

  I never run into any Aigis or Mitsuru (thank god for no Mitsuru...) online. All Chie and Yosuke's with the occasional other character. I have a lot of fun playing Aigis. Her gatling gun is great for killing Persona from a distance. Overall she's a great character to play as.

  I mostly fight Yu Narukami's, Akihikos, Yosukes, and the occasional Kanji. Oh, and let's not forget the Elizabeths who spam that grab where she's invincible during the animation, and spam Ziodyne after it. :v
  
  But yeah, Aigis is great. It took a few matches for me to get into her playstyle since I don't usually play characters that require that much management (Bullets and Orgia mode meter). But yeah, I actually hardly run into any characters besides the ones I listed. If I run into a Naoto or Yukiko with a high win-rate. I know I'm in for a good fight since they're deadly in the hands of a smart player

  Ugh I hate the Elizabeths who just spam Maziodyne (and they don't even spam the better version of it!), they give such an awesome character a bad name, she has so many other viable and just as deadly moves. Using her grab frequently I can't feel the same about though, getting in a stun or fear from that move can be the difference between winning a match for Elizabeth with her low health and easily breakable Thanatos. And I can't tell you how many players I've run into who don't know you can dash while stunned, I use advantage of that and cast the hell out of Diarahan.
  
  On a side note, I wish that auto combo didn't work online, so many people just keep spamming it. It's boring to fight someone like that.
